Now That's a Scary Badger - elChupucabra and Porkskins Affectionally called NTASB, or simply "Badger," this split LP has been in the works for over two decades, the process fraught with turmoil, dissonance, dysfunction, and other such synonyms for "trouble." What it came down to was the summer of '05, when the pair decided to bring together what they'd already written as kids and toss in a few songs inspired by the heat of Mississippi, made tolerable by wandering through underground tunnels, swimmin' in the creek, riding bikes, rescuing kittens, and of course, drinking whisky. Is this the quintessential album of Antifolk Mississippi? Maybe. Is it the paradigm of rockaroll? Definitely. Buy me.

Katrina: The Antifolk Benefit This film by Dominick Musella documents when pretty much every antifolk musician in New York City and their friends came together for an all-day open mic in order to raise money for people affected by Hurricane Katrina. By some magical turn of events, little ole' me got to play, and being from Mississippi, I felt I had a different perspective to offer. Also features Kimya Dawson, Adam Green, Dibs, Dan Fishback...just to name a few.

1000 Monkeys 1000 Monkeys is a zine for the diseased and mad. I am a frequent contributor. It is not available online (YET) because it's made of wood pulp fiber and not electrons--well, there are still many electrons involved, but not enough to make for a pretty screenshot. But read more about it here. In any case, I am the Science Editor--yes, I gave myself that title just now. The next issue is rumored to be math-themed, or at least printed on graph paper. Any and all contributions are welcome. Drop me a line, and I'll let the Editor-in-Chief know.

T-shirts I made iron-on T-shirts for Porkskins and mice cream. They sold like pancakes, so like, nine or something. I don't make them anymore, but I guess if you really wanted one, I could put forth the effort. The mice cream with the little birthday hat was a custom-made request, so that one is definitely discontinued. We don't need to spread such bizarre ideas any further.

Veterinary Operation! In an effort to fill up space, I thought I'd share a board game that I created. It's Operation! (I'm pretty sure that the exclamation point is part of the title, but if not, I decree it so), but with a cat instead of a man. It features many common pathologies of felines--sorta. I'm not yet a veterinarian, so I'm not legally obligated to provide accurate information. Here is the full view.
